When Korea's Samyang Foods first requested to go to Japan to sell its technology to produce ramen, Nissin Foods refused. In the end, Samyang had no choice but to ask Myojo Foods, a rival of Nissin Foods, and was able to make Samyang Ramen thanks to Kiyozumi Okui, the president of Myojo Foods, who graciously provided technical assistance free of charge upon hearing of Korea's difficult post-war situation. there was. In 1985, when Binggrae entered the ramen business, Binggrae entered into a technical partnership with Nissin. Although Binggrae ramen was a significant latecomer in the domestic market, it was evaluated as having a very good taste, but it was not very enjoyable and withdrew from the ramen business in 2003. did.
